A View to a Kill—Sunday Oct 22nd

A View to a Kill

In 1985 James Bond came to San Francisco for a View to a Kill. Sited as one of the best Bond films thanks to Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones, Duran Duran, and even Maud Adams! Join us as we partake in many of these Killer Views celebrating this momentous film of adventure!

Prep the bikes, get the chains lubed up, the registrations current, the tires checked, and get that riding gear ready. Smaller (50~85cc) two stroke replicas like the Derbi GPR, and the Aprilia RS50 are very much encouraged. Fast mopeds should be fine (make sure your brakes work!). Full size 4T (250cc+) is frowned upon. Groms and such are okay!

Meet up Sunday October 22nd at 10:30am, KSU at 11:00am.

We’ll gas up at the Chevron on Geary and Arguello. There will be other stops for the bikes that guzzle. Lunch will again take place in the hills.

If you still don’t have a Replica Racer contact us, and lets find one for you. If you still haven’t gotten your Replica Racer ready lets get on that, we can help you!

Route. This route is tentative.

Ride Report

It was a fantastic ride–one of the best this year. The weather was perfect. There was almost no traffic. Most of the roads were clear of debris. The “gravity race” was a blast (due to mass the CBR almost won!). There was a “Sunday Morning” Rider hanging out at the damn that chased after us all excited to chat about our coasting race–that was really cool as those cats are hella fast. We got a table right away at the lunch spot. It was just a great day for a ride.

We got to ride pretty much all of the good roads in the area, with the only exception being the closed section of HWY1. And because of riding 50cc strokers we hardly used any gas. I think the CBR used as much gas as all of the two strokes combined, and it had the hardest time keeping up! lolz Because of the light traffic we were able to keep a strong pace going on. The Flow was strong on Sunday. Oh and the Views were Killer!
