I'm going to try my hardest to share some of the drills that KDJR uses to practice. This one is called "Rows" and it's pretty tough, so I wouldn't have a beginner try this. I'll try and share some beginner drills also.
You don't need anything more than a parking lot and some cones (and a stock CRF50 for a kid... not a modded one).

KDJR Drills: Rows
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3kHkg92Pb8
KDJR, 8 yo Amercian motorcycle racer, does a lot of training via drills in a parking lot. This is one of the many drills we use called rows. The rows are so tight that he needs to transition (move) from left to right quickly in order make the next row. Also, he needs to use the all of the space in the row in order to make the turn.

KDJR Motorcycle Drills: Figure 8s
https://youtu.be/S3aAXQC4zx4
KDSR has a number of KDJR’s figure 8 videos posted. The great thing about this with all of these video it is possible to see KDJR’s development from just barely being able to do them to a great level of mastery. I highly recommend this series to folks that are struggling. It’s a challenge to do these drills, but with time, effort, and hard work they can be mastered.
