Eleven Eleven Eleven—Saturday Nov 11th

The eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month mankind came together to put an end to all wars. While this dream has yet to be realized, even as a lofty goal it is one we should forever seek. To honor the people who’s life adventures took them down this path we will ride 11/11/11.

Prep the bikes, get the chains lubed up, the registrations current, the tires checked, and get that riding gear ready. Smaller (50~85cc) two stroke replicas like the Derbi GPR, and the Aprilia RS50 are very much encouraged. Fast mopeds (make sure your brakes work!), Groms and such are okay!

This will be a decently paced ride. Prep the bikes, get the chains lubed up, the registrations current, the tires checked, and get that riding gear!

Meet up at the Skyline Trading Post (STP)–the corner of HWY35 and HWY84, Saturday November 11th at ~10:30am, KSU at 11:00pm. Gas up at STP, or Alice’s.

If you want to ride from San Francisco meet at the Daly City Chevron next to the BK, by the shopping center. at 9:30am, KSU at 10:00am. If you need to park a transport use the Home Depot lot.

There will be other stops for the bikes that guzzle. Lunch will again take place in Boulder Creek.

Ride Report

It was COLD!!

Yeah it got really cold, and the battery in the phone was done really early in the ride so not many photos this time. The roads were still wet in the shade from yesterday’s rain, and there were pine needles in many parts of 236. Still we had a blast, the bikes performed great, and we made it home safely.
