For losening them up I used the methode as you posted on the picture. Lock 2 nuts against each other. Warm up the bolts where it meets the case so the glue will loosen up a littlebit. Although I dont think there is too much other methods. At least I didnt hear any more. Try heating it up, mine alwasy screwed "easily" out.

2018 Aprilia RS4 50 Euro 4 Upgrade Project: Stud Processing
The double nut method is what I use. I bought some of the stud inserted tools but they messed up the studs, so I went back to using double nuts. I wouldn't run them all the way to the bottom though, because if they slip it could damage something.

cool thanks guys, my nuts kept slipping ( hahahahaha) so went and got some others to try .. why do the studs have to be 7mm when the store sells either 6 or 8mm???

Yeah this 7mm is holding everyone progress back very often, at least mine. I think when they designed the 6mm would been too thin so it would break the 8mm would be too thick so it has less flexibilty so it would break. At least on a very strong build like 100cc 2fast or something like this. Or they just wanted to fuck with us so we cant get anything to it
they wanted to hold us back from modifying I guess? Maybe Tora knows the right answer

4 nuts, lock tight and a blow torch did it!

Re: 2018 Aprilia RS4 50 Euro 4 Tyres

This is quite an old discussion and tora I have read your extensive post on it as well.
In europe it seems like the Mitas tyre is not known, or considered lower quality.
Currently I have the Mc 25's on mine. In tora's post it recommend going for the MC 50's. I'm considering the new Pirelli Diablo III .
Has anyone used these or see any advantage over the mitas as the cost for these I expect to be more?
For the front: 100/80 R 17 M/C 52H TL
For the rear: 130/70 R 17 M/C 62H TL
............and an absolute must for keeping with the rear tyre size? or could you go to the 140/70 R 17 M/C 66H TL?
Cheers

Dont buy Pirelli tires ever!! They are waay worse than Mitas. I changed my Mitas MC25 to the MC50. I was very satisfied with it. The quaility and the grip was better than the MC25. I never experienced slipping like on the Pirelli. (They are always slipping) so in 3 word, buy Mitas MC50!! The best everever tires.
The widest tire that you can put on is 130/70 for the rear. On the front 100/80. You cant put 140 for the rear as it would touch the chain. At least on the euro 3 RS. What I saw I think your one is not that different. Stick with the 130.

I'll second the questionable quality of Pirelli tires.
I've had 2 sets on a car and 2 sets on a cycle, and they both have dried, cracked, and lost traction way before they should have.
No more Pirelli tires for me.

2018 Aprilia RS4 50 Euro 4 Upgrade Project: Make Mine Sava

Sava MC50 from Treats
As for these bikes I've tried a number of different combinations, and sizes. I've learned the hard way not to put wider tires on a bike, unless you really know what you are doing—and if you did then you wouldn't be asking us.

Get the proper sized MC50s. You will be happy with them, and they wont mess up the handling of your bike. To give you some idea in how much I believe in the Savas; I probably could have gotten just about any tire in Japan for the GPR that they have over there. Instead I spent big money to ship, and pay import fees, to get a set of MC50s for that bike.
The one tire I actually seem to have more fun with though are the MC18s. They wont fit your bike. I think the reason I like them is because the older GPRs and RS50s had skinnier wheels. Because of this they turn quicker/easier. When I record myself going through the twisties I get much better times on the older bike—even with a less powerful engine, and brakes. I also seem to have more confidence in the MC18s. It's not a lot different, but it is noticeable. Not that it makes any difference right now. However maybe you'll think about it when it comes time for you to get a Replica for yourself.

Also running Michelin Pilot Power RSs on my SV right now.
Michelin tires have not let me down like Pirellis have. I have them on 2 of my cars and my daily-rider SV.
For your bike, I'd go with the Sava's - as tora recommended.
I really need to get a set for my GPR.
