2018 Aprilia RS4 50 Euro 4 Upgrade Project
Such a waste on the fairings. You can fix it for like 50€, not for 175.
The grip pealing is weird, I never had this. I mean once when my throttle bar size was a bit off from the correct size.

Hey kaldis, do you know of anywhere that paints at a reasonable price in or near france?
For this and another part of a vespa I took it to my local sprayer ,on two separate occasions they said 100 euros minimum...even if I prepared it all.. I thought it was such a rip off I might as well buy new again and save the hassle..so that's what I did.
Cheers

Woahh 100€? Thats a fuckin rip off. Search for an other person. Here in Hungary you can repair a fairing from 50€(crack repair, repaint and stickers). If you have to color code for your fairings, you can buy the paint. Prepare everything yourself, so they just nees to paint it. I wouldnt pay more than 30-40€ for just painting.
If you have an air compressor and a painting head for it, you can make such an amazing work even in a dirty garage.

Did you choose the pirelli? Be carefull with that, if the tire is cold or the road is wet they are slipping like hell. I had the same type. Never again, maybe you will have slme luck

I'll say that I've had numerous sets of Pirelli tires on my cars and cycles, and they all dried out, cracked, and lost traction way before they should have.
No more Pirellis for me either.
I have Avons on my GPR, and they degraded quickly as well. Unfortunately they are 16", so my choices are very limited. I'm going with the Savas next time if I can find them.

Hey guys... after all the talk about tyres I thought a little wind up was in order.
I got the MC 50's and a 130 for the rear.

Good choice. Never use Pirellis. Mc25 and Mc50 are both awesome. For road use I prefer the Mc50, for track the Mc25.

I hope you haven't mounted those tires yet!!!
Please read this post. By putting the wrong size tires on the bike you will negatively effect its handling.
If you want to upgrade the tires the Sava MC50s come in the proper sizes, and were designed for bikes running these wheels. I have them on two of my bikes, and the performance is better than anything else available for these bikes. Additionally, it is important to get a matched set of tires.
Yes tires can be mixed if you know what you are doing, or are forced to mix them because there are no other options, but when you can get a proper set of matched tires then that in generally the best solution. In the case of the Savas that option exists.
The reason you want to get matched tires is because they will be designed to work together. Even when tires are the proper sizes the manufactures can choose to make the profiles different. By mixing a set it can cause the front to do one thing, and the rear to do another making the bike become unstable, and unpredictable.
I have in the past fitted my bikes with the incorrect tires. Even high end tires, and this is how I learned about these situations, and why I wrote that article.
