That's because Photobucket the photo hosting site has decide to ransom the photos for $400/year/account. Bloggers and foro users all over the planet are starting to post about this. It seems to have stared earlier this week, and is slowly migrating through out their user base.
I personally have somewhere between 10 to 15 thousand photos hosted there. Over a decade's worth of posting how to's, and such on various foros and whatnot. I will probably never have the time to garden these posts--some of which (like on Moped Army) can not be edited so there's no hope to repair those.
imgur is probably the best replacement around at the moment. I use it from time to time, but the UI is slightly worse than atrocious.
Oh well, the only constant in the universe is change. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There's now a plug in for Chrome that will by pass the PhotoBucket block.
I haven't seen one for other browsers yet. This does indeed work, but it's probably only a matter of time before they fubar it again.
