RSV4-Inspired Aprilia GPR250 Launched in China

The Aprilia GPR250 is revealed to be sold in Chinese markets... could its updated RSV4-inspired styling be a hint of what's to come from the Italian marque?

The Italian marque’s latest entry into the competitive Chinese market, where the gravitas of the Aprilia brand retains plenty of sway, the Aprilia GPR250 is a ‘big brother’ to the more established GPR150.
► Show Spoiler

Aprilia has uprated their original frame to now withstand the rigors of a 250cc four stroke for the Chinese and possibly Indian markets. Interesting. it would be a riot of a bike for the USA.

These are made in China - right?

It would be neat if Aprilia would enter the (reasonably) hot small bike U.S. market.

Wonder how it would do compared to the Ninja, R3, and CBR? Performance is probably most similar to the CBR (unfortunately).

It is rather interesting that they chose to employ the Derbi plastics over the Aprilia plastics. This has also been the case with other Aprilia versions of this bike.

Yes, these are all Chinese now. Been that way ever since they put the 4T engine in the bike.

If they were to bring this to the States I would seriously consider getting one. :scream_cat:

I think because the Aprilia was a replica of the RSV4 or whatever it was so perhaps for that reason?

I've always like the style of that model, and the overall design of the frame and components (USD forks) looks legit.

Unfortunately a single-cylinder 250cc 4-stroke would kill it for me.

Now with a 125cc 2-stroke it would be a different story...
