Ovale GP0

Post by rgv250racer » Sun Jan 10, 2016 3:39 pm

Just picked up an Ovale GP0 for Alex. It's pretty coo—but it is a 4T. :(

160cc, and it puts out about as much power as the 72cc Metrakit ProRace equipped Derbi GPR behind it!

Ovale GP0: Inside the GP0

Post by toratora » Sun Jan 24, 2016 3:39 pm

I went over to Ed's today to check out the GP0 that he just picked up for his son. Admittedly the 4T is a big turn off, but outside of that it's a really cool bike. Check out these photos. Note, that Ed replaced the stock 4T engine because it was too much for the class that he wants to enter his son. So he bought a Lifan 125 engine—which mostly just slipped right in.

In the beginning of 2017 I felt like Alex was ready for more power so we swapped out the 125cc motor and installed a 150cc motor. After tuning the YX 150 it made 15 hp at the wheels. This was perfect because we want to run it against the 65cc 2 strokes.

Is there any possible way to get a measurement of the rider triangle on this bike? Trying to see how it compares in size to a NSR50/NSF100? Also, is there an Ohvale dealer in the US?

Thanks guys!

The Ohvale is a lot smaller than the NSR 50 or NSF100. Check out the picture of my son next to the Ohvale and his Kayo MR125. The Kayo is the same size as the NSF100. Also the are no dealers in the U.S. I was trying to establish a deal here in the states since 2015 and couldn't make it happen.
