BRK 88 For a new Generation

Got a new bigger project running along with the other one...

For this one we went with a BRK 88 with its 45mm stroker crankshaft.
About the cylinder, got a nice finish but it turns out that it has the same problems as the other BRK cylinders. Poor nicasil coating... it really likes to chip...
Ports have a nice finish but they are kinda out of symmetrical places.
Channels are bad, but correctable, boost channel is stupid...

BRK 88 For a new Generation: Porting

This cylinder has to go through porting of course.
Stock timings are 200 degree exhaust and 128 degree. Going for 200/130 because we have a bit higher revving exhaust. Want a bit higher, narrower powerband. Will be okay as now the transfers are higher than the boost by 2 degrees.

BRK seems to be a notch up from the Airsal. How did your porting turn out?

Brk has a modular head, thats why its better. Nothing else.
Its still under porting, it will be done probably in the next weeks
