Yeah they are hungarian sites. There is a big BUT these are not the cheapest ones and they can be messed up. I have a friend who takes apart bikes and sells them. He sells me always good and cheap stuff. 140-150 for an engine is okay here. I can help if anyone is interested at any time.

Re: 2018 Aprilia RS4 50 Euro 4 Upgrade Project oil leak?

Hi Guys, long time since I was last on here.

Noticed it a few times out when riding that oil comes out from the small hole below the water pump.

I've looked in the manual but nothing comes up. I cleaned it up, took it for a quick run and noticed oil coming from the hole, wiped the area down, then revved it and it came out again. Over a period of time it works it way down and back and everything is covered.

Is this a drain hole/ overflow and or should it have a stopper in it? any solutions gratefully received thanks

Can't say for sure, but it's common for a water pump to have a "weep hole" to let any water out that may get past a seal and into the bearing area.

Didnt realise there were two seals on the hub, one for water and the other for oil. Managed to replace them but still noticing a bit of fluid coming out .. is that normal???

No Idle

Hey Guys any pointers in the right direction??

Twice the bike broke down and had to go rescue as she couldn't get it going.

Recently the bike doesnt want to Idle, so I think as the throttle is released going int a bend the can die if the revs are not kept up.

I can turn the idle screw all the way in and it doenst make any difference.. ie the bikes rpm doesnt go up.. like it did before when i adjusted it some time ago.

Today I cleaned out the carb, only noticed a bit dark fluid in the reservoir but nothing much . Put it back together and the same.. It only idles if you keep the throttle open manually.

Any ideas of what it could be or next things to check.. all the cables look fine.. I wonder if its a problem with the cylinder and or rings if adjusting the idle screw makes no impact what so ever??

thanks for your input.

I guess it could be the same air leak issues as jaxx??

I took off the head and the barrel felt smooth with no scoring, unlike the last time when it happened. could it still be the rings and piston??

seems strange why its been working fine then all of a sudden this issue of not idling. so even if i turnt he idle screw all the way in.. the response is none.. bike still dies.
