After a short time of break we are back and working on the project again.
To cut to the point,
Fitted the electronic Bosch waterpump
► Show Spoiler
Fitted the Derbi clutch up
► Show Spoiler
Made the new combustion chamber for the longer stroke
► Show Spoiler
Lifted the cylinder correctly too.

And a less, but still important is that I rebuilt the front and rear suspension, which feels like waay different now while just sitting on it!

Nice work as usual, K. I'm just curious, why electric water pump? Does mechanical one really draws that much of a engine power away?

Did you use original Italkit combustion chamber shape, or have you changed it? If you changed the height, wouldn't you have to change shape also to keep optimal squish velocity... That's hardcore, I know :smiling_imp:

A mechanical waterpump can take a a few hp(give or take). I went with an electric one mainly because, as you may know I fitted a Derbi clutch on an AM6 engine. the gears on the 2 clutch have different modules and one is straight teethed(the derbi) and the other one is not. This way I don't need to design and make a waterpump gear.

The combustion chamber has a different design and shape too. We went for a higher compression ratio (If I remember correctly around 13.8:1) and a toroidal shape, should be better than what it was. The stock combustion chamber flexed a bit and didn't seal correctly. I hope that, that problem will be solved with this too. I changed the height because of the longer stroke, the piston travels 1.5mm more up and down(The stroke is 3mm bigger). The squish velocity is not really the main concern here.

I'm kinda rushing the project, because I want to start it in April. A Dellorto VHST 28 just arrived with TPS sensor.

After this project is done, I will mostlikely make a waay bigger one (maybe a V2 or V3?), but who knows what
