RMP SM Project—Rieju MRT Pro

Post by kaldis12 » Sun Jun 30, 2019 11:14 pm

Originally they provide one in the kit which is a simple heat resistant silicone Oring. What I bought is an Fkm(viton) o-ring. Normally this is what everyone uses in motogp here.
Last day I searched around what could be the problem.
Originally the give you a 56x1.6mm o-ring. That was way too thin so it burnt up.
After this I putted in a 57x2mm that was probably waay to thick so the combustion chamber cannot sit into its place.
Last day I putted in 56x2mm (it can flatten out a bit more than the 57mm) the difference in throttle response was pretty noticable.(I also seen smaller/less bubbles in the water system.

What I will have to do is to get a thinner O-ring. 56x1.8mm would be good.

Yup I have a silencer holder thingy but I was just too lazy to put it on :D anyway I just started it up so that was no problem.

RMP SM Project—Rieju MRT Pro: Combustion Chamber

Post by kaldis12 » Sun Jul 28, 2019 3:55 am

We fixed the shitty water issue. Now the water isnt leaking into the combustion chamber.

Now as you can tell there is still something wrong. It could be an air leak or an ignition problem. The bike wont respond to any carburation adjustment. Soo we checked the ignition with a stroboscope, it was fine.

So my suspections say that the ignition side sealing could be broken. (That was the only seal that my brother installed :D )

Yeah done a leak test, it was all fine. No leaks whatsoever. I think I will have to search the problem around the ignition.

AM6 is a little tricky. The bubbles from the water will get out by itself. Thats why its hard to diagnose either its air in the system or you have a blown head O-ring.

I've almost fell on my first ride. The bike wanted to wheelie but I didnt wanted it. The handlebar started shaking. I was able to hold it though :D

The video is not the best, its not carburated yet. Expecting about 5 more horses.

Next video will be about a well tuned bike :D

As it turns out the Tpr intake manifold doesnt match the Tpr Vforce reeds :expressionless:
My ex fucking cuse, a lot of money went on it for no reason...

Yeah I don’t know why no one makes a proper V-force style reed for the Derbi engine. :(

There are a few good ones for AM6 especially 2WIN reeds. They are awesome.
As for the derbi there arent a lot of options. You could use one with bigger charge capacity but then you would have to increase the crankcase volume to be able to fit it.

My problem is that there is a little gap in the reeds, and the manifold cant seal it. It leaks around of the edges. As you can see it on this pretty low quality image. Here is how it "seals"
