Did you disassemble it?
The transmission blew up in Japan destroying the cases. I have to completely start from zero again.

Because the bike I asked them to buy was not the bike that they picked up my trip to Japan last year was heavily fuxored. The bike they got for me was very abused, and had massive problems, including a bad transmission. When it failed it took the cases with it destroying the engine. I brought most of the engine parts home, and will eventually build up a new engine with the intent of going back to Japan with it, put it into the bike, and do the riding I had intended to do in 2018. :paw_prints:

Sounds awesome :D How expensive the cases are there? Here its like $150-$160 for a complete d50B0 engine.

Maan I would buy that kit from you :-D planning to buy one though, will wait for your opinion on this.

A metric shit ton

Can you get the engine with the balancer at those prices? I may have to employ your services to obtain one. The transmission is pretty much trashed, and while you can buy a gear set there are all the other little parts that should be replaced as well.

I ran the 2Fast for a very short time, and it was nothing short of totally awesome. When this bikes finally goes together it will be a total hoot to ride.

If you want a really nice 100cc setup the 2Fast is a great way to go about it. :paw_prints:

If I remember correctly thats the balancer type. Buying used cases are way better option than the new one. Nowadays its hard to find a used engine with good transmittion condition. What I was doing is I had an almost new transmittion amd bought a used cases, fitted in it my perfect transmission and boom a "new" engine.

Sometimes there are some good transmittions on the used market too.

Hi Tora,
Do you have a portmap from the 2fast 100? And if you do maybe you could share that with us?

I haven’t made one, but since I have a few cylinders that would be nice to add to the port mapping page this would be a good one to check out. Maybe I can get to it sometime this week. :paw_prints:

Hey K,

I do hope to get to the port mapping action soon. I’ve just been a little bit overwhelmed with the Zukachi. :paw_prints:
