Jimmy came by and we finished up with the prep work. Then it was off to West Coast to see AJ where we dropped off the parts. After which we went to Carl’s to get some Beyond Meat veggie beggars!!

A lot of effort went into this bike today! :scream_cat:

There will be a lot of photos in this post, but there could have easily have been triple. I skipped a lot of steps—mostly cleaning, and such which takes a massive amount of time, and effort.

Installing the headset.

Swing arm bushings.

Installing the swing arm and shock.

Side stand, and chain rollers.

Tank adjusters, chain adjusters, side panel mounts, and rear fairing well nuts.

Partial rear set, foot peg, more suspension, and key switch/clock mount.

Forks, and bars.

Engine. By then it was pretty late so time to call it. Most of this isn’t torqued down all the way, and some things like the rear sets will need to come off to install parts, but finding things, and getting them cleaned up has been a huge part of the effort!! :paw_prints:

JL-GPR 075: Chain Gang

It was time to put a chain on this bike. I had a fairly decent IRIS chain that needed some cleaning. The WD chain cleaner worked pretty well, but there was stil a lot of scrubbing involved! :grimacing:

Once cleaned up it was time to fit it. Since this bike has the 075 gearing I had to pull about four links out of the chain. It’s still a bit loose since I have to do some torquing of a few other fasteners first! :paw_prints:
