Derbi GPR - transmission leak

Post by jkv357 » Wed Jul 28, 2021 6:58 am

My GPR started leaking trans fluid a while ago - and doesn't want to stop.

I need to pull the fairings and take a better look, as I can't see exactly where it's coming from.

Has anyone had that happen? I've owned it for years, and it never leaked a drop until now. All of a sudden, it's leaking significantly and won't stop. It's got to be almost empty at this point.

Thanks.

My engine was also leaking a lot from everywhere but not as much as you, because it was very old and from an abandoned bike.
Maybe your leak come from the selector shaft seal or the little Gearwheel seal. Or maybe in the worst case the crankshaft seals.
