2005 RM65 / KX65 SUPERMOTO

If you know, you already know. If you don't, read the following.

What is it you might ask? Well it's a kids dirtbike with a 65cc two stroke mated to a 6 speed manual gear box with a clutch. With all 15 horsepower this bad boy will rip your chicken arms out of their sockets all the way to approximately 60mph. Is it street legal? Heck no, but what am I? A cop? "Well golly mister where can I ride it?" Personally I'm a fan of taking this bad boy to Apex Kart track (Perris), Adams Kart Track (Riverside), Buttonwillow Kart Track (Bakersfield-ish) etc. Google "UMRA" or "Mini Moto Alliance" and you'll find out all you need. This bad boy recently took me to a whopping "Didn't get last place" finish at the Roland Sands MotoBeach Classic flattrack race AND I got first place in an endurance race on this.

This turd has the following
-Fork Brace
-Dunlop tires that are as flaky and questionable as my ex (will give you some Mildly used Mitas if you want, or you can get a set of PMT slicks)
-Internally modified forks (honestly not sure what the last guy did but it feels fine to me)
-Some rear shock that was pulled out of a dumpster (no really I recommend replacing this)
-About 15 or so hours on this Athena top end (cylinder+head, piston, rings)
-A reasonably new bottom end and refreshed transmission (~30-35 hours, what? you think I made notes of when I did all this?)
-EBC Big Brake kit with CRF450 Caliper and master cylinder (have a spare set of pads so you aren't lost when it comes time to replace)
-Custom*** front fender mod - a la sportbike (***I took an angle grinder and drill to the fender and mounted it to the brace to make it look more sportbike-y than dirtbike, I think it looks cool)
-A lap timer mount that I'm pretty proud of actually please do not make fun of it.
-Speaking of that laptimer I'll throw mine in with it. (~$110 value)
-Kickstarter fell off and I never bothered with buying one so I just push start it, takes no effort.

FB: 2003 Derbi Senda - $1495 (Portland, Oregon)

Post by toratora » Fri Feb 08, 2019 1:39 pm

This Derbi Senda started life as a water cooled 50cc two stroke with a 6-speed transmission (though we all seem to count 7 speeds). It has a 21mm Dellorto carburetor, and a stock expansion chamber. It now has a Malossi 80cc cylinder kit. It runs like a new bike, and is totally hilarious to ride. It’s for sale, and has a clean title.

$1495

Selling my 2003 Derbi Senda Supermoto show bike. This bike just had a complete strip down to powder coat frame, swing arm, pegs, forks, and so on. Every seal, bearing on entire bike was upgraded and changed. The bike has a 80cc water cooled polini cylinder kit with a 6 speed trans. Most every single part on the bike is new like the Avon tires, sprockets, turbo kit exhaust, 80cc Polini cylinder, clutch, leather seat, 24mm Keihin carb, gold handlebars, braided lines, adjustable ignition , flywheel, cables, brakes, rebuilt calipers, led headlight and a lot more. This bike is ridden, but is used more for show. The bike is super fast reliable and starts on first kick. If you have any questions you can give me a call.
I deal with calls only!!! No text or emails to weed out the time wasters.
