Yup you got it. A full turn is 360°, a half turn is 180°, in would be clockwise, and out would be counter clockwise.

English is rather difficult...

If the cylinder is in good shape it’s probably fine to just do a piston refresh. Make sure to replace the wrist pin and little end bearing too.
